In 2022 we provided 1627 nights of accommodation for guests with the medical conditions of dialysis, kidney transplant, high-risk pregnancy, leukaemia, brain aneurysm, liver transplant, hip-replacement, bowel cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, lung cancer, oesophagus cancer, prostate cancer, emotional disorder, premature baby, triple-by-pass, obstetrics and gynaecology, heart attack and other general medicine. (Excitedly 4 sets of twins were born š¼ š¼)
Paige (25 years old) instantly lost consciousness when she suffered an AVM brain bleed.
After she was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital her support system of family and friends knew they couldnāt afford a hotel.
Fortunately, Cottages 4 Country Care could accommodate Paigeās family. When Paige woke up 3 weeks later, they were by her side.
Janeās Cottage was their āHome Away from Homeā during the 10 weeks of stressful, uncertain times.
The charity was founded in 2008. It has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.

Within 12 months, we provided accommodation for 7 kidney transplant recipients, 14 dialysis patients, a cochlear implant, a quadruple heart bypass, 2 guests with brain tumours, leukaemia patients, 2 liver transplant guests, cancer patients, a brain bleed, and many other guests, including Paigeās family
